Free Text on customer receipt
In Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC LS Retail we can control printing of the free text on the customer receipt/Invoice. Free text are generally used in restaurant business where generally waiter send instruction to chef in kitchen for the specific requirement regarding the dish customer ordered.
This is how free text looks like
But we don’t want the free text to be printed on the receipt which we issue customer. Let us see how can we achieve that.
1. Go to the functionality profile which is attached to the store/Terminal and uncheck the following option as shown in below image
2. POS will not print the extra text on receipt
